After the departure of Bioware co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, Aaryn Flynn dropped a blog post on their site detailing the future of games for Bioware.
In the blog he mentions the announcement of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition as well as revealing to players that they will find themselves back on Omega station in Mass Effect 3.
Not stopping there, Flynn states the team behind Mass Effect is hard at work building a new Mass Effect game and are looking to the community for possible ideas.
“Where to go next?” with such a project has been a question a lot of us have been asking, and we’d all love to hear your ideas.
He rounds out the blog post with the announcement of a brand new IP in the works from Executive Producer Casey Hudson.
Both Dragon Age and Mass Effect started as single games but grew into vast universes. But we aren’t stopping there. While Casey continues to oversee the development of our new Mass Effect project, he and his leads are putting together their vision for an all new game set in a fictional universe, built from the bottom-up with all new gaming technology.
It is sad to see the good doctors leaving Bioware, but it is great to know that the care they put into their games will continue on and grant gamers new worlds to explore and bash uglies into the ground.
