Last week GamesBeat got an exclusive beta announcement with publisher Reloaded Games for Taikodom.
If you have not been paying attention to this game though it has been in development for six plus years, Taikodom has the elements of EvE Online mixed with Risk, then sprinkle some action shooter mechanics and toss in first person space battles for good measure. All of this is rolled up with players having access to territory they can control and the opportunity to get their feet wet in interstellar politics.
Reloaded Games aims to have Taikodom released for PC and Mac later this year, with the eventual goal of having it cross platform for Ps3, Xbox 360, Android, iPad, Wii, Wii U, and tablets.
Since Taikodom uses the Unity3D engine, the matter of porting the game to these other platforms would be a non-issue for Hoplon Infotainment. The question becomes whether they are allowed to do so.
