Crytek Announces Crysis 3 Release Date At EA Preview Event

Well, I wans’t really expecting this today, but, in the immortal words of Professor Farnsworth: “Good news, everybody!” We now have an official release day for Crysis 3.

Ladies and gents: You now have until February to prepare your computers for the onslaught of torture you are going to inflict on it.

Crytek‘s Cevat Yerli announced the release dates for the game at an EA preview event earlier this morning and players can expect to see the game hit shelves February 19th in North America and February 22nd in Europe.

Hmm… Something makes me think I should expect to not hear from some of my friends for a while.

  Crysis 2 was a total let down.. all Tech sites didn’t even bother using it as a benchmark because of how sad it was. All tech sites are still using the original Crysis for benching.
  
  if Crysis 3 follows C2′s route, no one needs to save anything, since you just need a PS3 to play it.
