Crysis 3 Trailer, Screens Show A Lot To Look Forward To

Crysis 3 is due out early next year, but that won’t stop developer Crytek from unleashing some new goodies ahead of time.

The futuristic first-person-shooter is having quite the show at E3. With this new trailer and these four new screenshots (provided by PC Gamer), you can pretend that you are seeing Crysis 3 at the conference with your own two eyes!

E3 2012 has been dubbed “The Year of the Bow” on Twitter, and Crysis 3 certainly does its best to add to the trend.

The new trailer emphasizes the multiple routes one can take to reach a mission objective. The mission: blow up a freaking dam.

I personally can’t wait to see all of the other things Crysis 3 will let me blow up.

Crysis 3 will be out on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in February 2013.

Stay tuned to GAMEBREAKER for all of your Crysis 3 and E3 coverage.

    I would prefer the bow-ner show ;)

Not sure of Crytek knowing so many shooters were going to flood the heck out of E3 but when they showed Crysis 3 on stage it did the game little justice. It was brief and it showed likely the most boring scenarios they could’ve for it, w/o any explanation of the game like the others got.

On top of that showing the CELL as main enemies is what turned off a lot of Crysis fanboys from Crysis 2, fighting puny, weak targets like generic unarmored soldiers. We all know for those who played both or the first Crysis, the most badass enemies were either (Koreans in) Nanosuits enemies or large aliens by far. Probably one big difference it had to set itself from others is being that Nanosuit soldier fighting against a super powerful army of aliens alone or alongside an ally army (like late Crysis 1).

Mike is getting so damn smooth with the hits.

Ya… sick of bows after Skyrim.

Does anyone remember the first Crysis? Now that game was an evolution. Huge open space, boats, jeeps, and THAT made the multiple ways to complete missions actually feel like freedom.

Now this game, like Crysis 2 and 3, looks like just another shooter on rails with “oh you got 3 paths to go but it’s really no better than a corridor shooter like COD”

I played Crysis 2 and it was such a let down from the original. They seem to have given the open world scene to Farcry and just gone straight up Turok for Crysis 3…What a shame.

I don’t think they are showing the best parts of the game, it could still be the same crap but once you get to alien eco-dome things you should get more freedom. It least they hinted to that, I have a feeling it will still be limited. If Crysis 2 didn’t have a great MP experience and awesome story based ending (the gameplay one sucked) then it would have nothing good to say about 2.
