Diablo III Launch Party

It’s been twelve long years, but the wait for the latest installment in Blizzard’s Diablo franchise ended last night. And gamers everywhere are suffering from one mean Diablo III related hangover. Several members of the GAMEBREAKER staff have still not recovered.

In honor of this auspicious occasion, our own Gary Gannon, Mike B and Mike Schaffnit hosted a Diablo III launch party. The party, which started an hour before the game was set to go live, gave players a glimpse at the Diablos of the past and talked about the latest installment.

There is one thing it did not do, however — explain Gary’s new face accessories.

To bad I missed it :S was watching onemoregameTV’s launch party… you guy’s need to have your stream pop up on teevox somehow you’d get more viewers xD I’m sure allot of people are like me and just open that up to see who’s streaming :S. Gonna watch while blizzard keeps fucking around with servers =p .

Go to the twitch tv gamebreaker archives and watch the 39 minute video of the Diablo 3 pre-show and Mike S getting trolled. It’s hilarious stuff.

Why are they celebrating in the past 3 days every time I log on I have had connection issues and had to wait till blizzard put a patch on the game or performed a work around. This is way worse then the Illum debacle of SWTOR and people need to start criticizing blizzard for their handling of this crap. There are enough major online games like ModernWarfare that launch with a huge following and don’t have anywhere near the bugs this online system has.

Blizzard needs called out on their arrogant position of single player online. Frankly the 1% stupid enough to pay real world money for a diablo item are not my concern and the reasoning blizzard gave for rejecting such a system obviously overlooked the swath of errors that has plagued the game since launch error 37, 3005,3006,14009, 315300 and many more not to mention the rolling restarts the service disconnection all because 1% of the population would try to sell another 1% some non real world gear by making counterfeight?

That isnt the reason the reason is blizzard wants their cut. They are now actively screwing over fans so they can eek out more profit from this pony. The pony howerver does not shoot rainbows out it’s arse and needs to go to the glue factory based on it’s current performance. Fix the game blizzard and patch single player offline now. PC gamers are watching and if you keep jacking this up dont expect to sucker us in again.
