Some awesome news for Diablo III players this week with the long awaited Hero Profiles feature finally going live over at the D3 website.
Hero Profiles function similarly to the World of Warcraft Armory Profiles, allowing anyone on the web to search a player’s battle tag and pull up their profile.
The Hero Profile currently lets people see what gear, stats, skills, and achievements you’ve earned. It even has crafting information and gives the total amount of monsters each of your characters have defeated, and on which difficulty levels.
One of the nicer features is being able to check out the profiles of your battle.net friends, so you can easily see what kind of gear, stats and talents that one crazy Monk dude you know is rocking as he farms Act III and IV.
The Web Dev team for D3 seems to really like the final product saying:
“We like that profiles provide for easy sharing, comparing, and refining of your heroes as you pursue monster-slaying mastery. In fact, we like profiles so much that we plan to add even more functionality to them as Diablo III evolves, including detailed statistics and tabs for achievements and artisans.”
They’ve asked for user feedback, let them and us know what you think about the new Hero Profiles. What kind of features do you want to see added in the future?
