Thanks to some observant reporters at Eurogamer, we have learned that Ubisoft‘s next foray into the Assassin’s Creed franchise will release a bit later on PC than we expected.
As far as we knew up to this point, the PC version of Assassin’s Creed III would be released at the same time as the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 3oth; however, the European cover art of the game tells us that the PC version will not be released until November 23rd. It is quite possible that this will only affect the European customers, but this still begs the question, “Why the delay?”
Unfortunately, the most that Ubisoft could say was that the PC version’s release date is still “to be announced.”
