Avast ye scurvy landlubbers! The Leaked Assassin’s Creed 4 Trailer be here and it be amazing!
Okay.. I’m done, I just couldn’t resist.
So yes, someone has decided to leak the Assassin’s Creed 4 trailer and it’s gorgeous. More importantly, it has pirates — a lot of them.
Right now, we really don’t know a lot about AC4: Black Flag other than when and where it’s supposed to take place and that it will apparently make extensive use of the naval combat that debuted in Assassin’s Creed 3. Judging from the video, it looks like players could be making more use of this game feature than they will going from town to town on horseback (or foot). It makes pretty good sense for it to be that way as any proper pirate setting would have you going from island to island, pillaging and plundering all the way.
Lots of personality.
The leaked Assassin’s Creed 4 trailer starts out with a very well known pirate character — Blackbeard, who is more than willing to tell you what kind of trouble you might be getting into if you join up with the game’s protagonist — Captain Edward Kenway — aboard his ship. All-in-all it sounds like pretty good deal. That captain is obviously strong, smart and knows his way around. But as with all things, there’s a catch.
Don’t meddle in his affairs.
Every man has his secrets, some just have more than others. And… Some mens’ secrets are more dangerous than others, especially when that man is an assassin and a pirate. But, hey… If you’re a good pirate, you’re just here for the open seas, the money, the adventure, and occasionally — when you pull into dock — the ladies.
Okay guys.. Seriously.. PIRATES!
I will play this game just for the chance to meet Blackbeard. I love everything pirate related. They’re villains of another type — kind of good guys and bad guys rolled into one. And, if Assassin’s Creed 4 is offering me a chance to be one of them. I’m all in.
And, if you guys missed it earlier this week, once you finish watching the leaked Assassin’s Creed 4 trailer, pop over and take a peek at the AC4: Black Flag cover art here.
