Good news! There’s new Mass Effect 3 DLC coming soon! Bad news… it’s not the DLC you probably want.
Kotaku has the scoop on new Mass Effect 3 DLC so fresh that BioWare hasn’t even announced it yet. Sony’s Hong Kong website has revealed — and since removed — information on a new DLC pack dubbed “Rebellion.”
Much like the previous Resurgence Pack, it sounds like the upcoming Rebellion DLC will be more content for Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer mode.
The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons as well as equipment, consumables, and six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues – hold the line!
There’s no word on price or release date. Hopefully this Rebellion content will be priced the same as the Resurgence Pack — absolutely free.
Are you ready to jump into more Mass Effect multiplayer action, or are you going to hold out until they finally fix the ending to the single-player game? Let us know in the comments.
UPDATE: There is some confusion over what’s actually included in the Rebellion pack, as the Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator are already available in Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer. We’ll have to wait for clarification once this DLC is officially announced. Thanks for the heads up XvShadow!
