Good news! There’s new Mass Effect 3 DLC coming soon! Bad news… it’s not the DLC you probably want.

Kotaku has the scoop on new Mass Effect 3 DLC so fresh that BioWare hasn’t even announced it yet. Sony’s Hong Kong website has revealed — and since removed — information on a new DLC pack dubbed “Rebellion.”

Much like the previous Resurgence Pack, it sounds like the upcoming Rebellion DLC will be more content for Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer mode.

The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons as well as equipment, consumables, and six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues – hold the line!

There’s no word on price or release date. Hopefully this Rebellion content will be priced the same as the Resurgence Pack — absolutely free.

Are you ready to jump into more Mass Effect multiplayer action, or are you going to hold out until they finally fix the ending to the single-player game? Let us know in the comments.

UPDATE: There is some confusion over what’s actually included in the Rebellion pack, as the Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator are already available in Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer. We’ll have to wait for clarification once this DLC is officially announced. Thanks for the heads up XvShadow!

Mass Effect 3 was such a let down in a lot of ways. Looks like they will continue that trend with DLCs that no one was ever going to ask for. GJ.

I know people are upset with the ending, yes I think everyone either agrees that it is bad or is aware of the bad ending. However the multiplayer kinda came out unexpected and to be frank it is bloody good considering the fact that this is the first time they make multiplayer available in the series.

Just saying if you havent played it try it out! Also considering the fact that the multiplayer is kinda solid I would gladly pay for an expansion of it rather than some small random singelsplayer mission like some we have seen it the past or thoose weapons pack that were in ME2. Also people are talking about that Bioware have plans to create other gamemodes like real missions for multiplayer which would be awsome to play.

    People are still playing it?

Yes, we usually play gold once a week. ^_^
