When Penny Arcade announced its Kickstarter campaign about a month ago, the Internet responded in a big way, opening its wallets so they could enjoy PA’s high-class style of entertainment with fewer — or ultimately no — ads.
The target number was $500,000 by Aug. 15, and as you can see by the Kickstarter page itself, Penny Arcade made that mark, by just a smidge, finishing at $528,144.
The few of you who voted in our Over/Under seem to have agreed with me that PA would make its goal, with one of you getting specific enough to say that the exact total would be $837,290. I’m sorry, your bid is over, you’re disqualified. Good luck in the bonus round.
