Ouya Pre-Orders Have Begun

If you missed out on the Ouya Kickstarter but still want to get your name on the list before release, you’re in luck.

After having a lot of success with the funding event for the console, the company announced that it is now offering pre-orders — available on the company site.

Anyone interested in preorders will be happy to know that the pricing still seems pretty much in line with the tiers on the kickstarter page. $110 will get you the console and a controller and includes $10 for shipping. International buyers will have to pay a bit more to cover shipping costs, but it’s still extremely reasonable.

So the big question is, how many people who haven’t already chipped in to the Kickstarter are interested in pre-ordering the Ouya? And who’s going throwing money at their website as we speak?

I’m still interested but I’m still not throwing my money until I see the final or kinda near final product(s). A couple of big names have pledged support like Square, OnLive, Vevo, etc but I still convince myself that thats enough of a reason

hm… on my PC I can emulate all oldschool consoles… Basicly do everything what ouya offers. What is so special about that console? What is inside? Will it be outdated in a few months or die like many other similar products?

  If you have a fairly recent PC then the Ouya is probably already outdated compared to your PC. It’ll probably be easier to stuff it under the TV than your PC if you are into that sort of thing.
