Runic Games Finally Gives A Date For Torchlight II

A friend of mine has sent me a few messages the last week or so about Torchlight II‘s release date. He was worried that Runic wasn’t going to make the “summer” deadline. But! I have good news for him. The game will be out this summer… Barely…

According to a post by Travis Baldree on the Runic Games forums, Torchlight II will be released on September 20th — 3 weeks from now.

Unfortunately for us, that’s all we know as of now. But Travis did say that more information would be coming some time today.

Perhaps an announcement from PAX?

I truly am a bit miffed at TL2. A significant reason I pre-bought it on steam is to kill time until GW2. GUESS THAT DIDN’T WORK OUT.

I’ve considered cancelling, but I know I’ll still like it. It’s just going to get played a WHOLE lot less than it would have. And if Path of Exile comes out soon after… I may never touch TL2 D:

  I think I will pick up TL2 when I start spending less time in GW2 which might be awhile still, gotta say GW2 is the best gaming purchase I have ever made at this point. Twice the game wow is without a sub, amazing.

Is this one multiplayer? I tried the demo for TL1 and didn’t love it, but multiplayer might be fun.
