Seduce Me Trailer Features Sexy Women And Bad Attitudes (Video)

The Seduce Me trailer shows off features of the newest PC dating sim.

If you’re someone who’s been in the market for a dating sim designed with the western market in mind, I may have just the thing for you.  No Reply Games, a two-person studio based out of Amsterdam have recently released Seduce Me — and the trailer to go along with it.

The game, which No Reply bills as an erotic strategy game, takes place in the Mediterranean vacation home of a rich socialite named Pietra.  And, somehow, you managed to get in invitation to go hang out with Pietra and her rich, sexy friends.

The game’s other three main characters fill out the roster of porn fantasy personalities — or maybe an episode of Californication. Cecelia the divorced “cougar” character is accompanied by her college age daughter Lilia — an “upper-class” girl.  And, to round out the group, Pietra’s maid, Esper, takes on the roll of the “wild child” who’s primary job is to look pretty and keep guests entertained.

It should be noted that these characters are in the list of game features as “Four seduce-able characters”.  The full list of features reads as follows:

  • Erotic cut scenes
  • Lavishly painted event images
  • Game mechanics based on five real world card games.
  • Four seduce-able characters and ten supporting characters
  • Explorable Mediterranean mansion

According to the Seduce Me trailer, you will use the card games mentioned above to interact with the characters.  It looks a bit like you have to match or trump whatever “card” the character you’re interacting with is displaying.  If you do play the wrong card, your chances of getting lucky with that character likely drop. And, if you mess up too many times, you’re asked to leave the party.

To get a look at the game — and perhaps tell me if I missed something about the mechanics — you can watch the Seduce Me trailer below.  Do keep in mind that the game is rated AO and the contents of the video while not graphic aren’t appropriate for work or kids.

Soon to give “no-scope headshot” a new meaning.

I enjoy many Hentai, Ecchi, and Vanilla Dating Sims from Japan, but this just seems bad to me. Maybe it’s because I am used to a different art style and game pacing style. Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball appears to have more depth than this.

Um… I don’t… Understand… Nah, you know what? Not worth the wall of text.

From watching the trailer and looking at the promotional media on the website, I do like the cel-shading art style, the onomatopoeic words used to visually illustrate sounds offscreen, it reminds me of XIII which was a fun little video game from 10 years ago, which despite it’s disappointing cliffhanger ending had a very fun plot and was an entertaining means of storytelling (almost like an interactive comic-book).

This game illustrates exactly why I don’t understand the claims that video games need stricter ratings. The ESRB rating system we have is significantly better than what is available for Television and Movies. It details what material might be objectionable right in the description and it’s granular enough to separate out more than the G, PG. PG+13, R and NC-17 do. It’s up to retailers and parents to do the rest. I think growing up as a teenager I was allowed to see plenty of R rated films (and PG-13 rated films that would have been rated M not T if they were video games) mostly unsupervised by an adult, whereas if I wanted to get video games it was A) more expensive and B) hard to avoid getting carded for. While I’m sure that a game like this one would be interesting to a 13 yrs old boy, unless they have access to their parents paypal/credit cards they won’t be able to play games like this (legally at least). NSFW disclaimers aside, the website advertising the game doesn’t contain any explicitly pornographic material, at least nothing that you wouldn’t see on commercials after ‘watershed’ on TV at least (e.g. GGW, dating hotlines etc.). But I imagine, a game like this receiving media attention in this super-crazy anti-video game political climate would only do harm than good.

Honestly, if you want a fun game in this style that is not pornographic, I’d recommend playing XIII (also available on consoles) which you can probably pick up used for under 10$ from your nearest game store or Amazon (unfortunately it’s not on Steam).

The NSFW disclaimer is somewhat cautionary as I don’t want anyone to have their boss walk by at work and ask WTF they’re looking at.  And depending on your parenting style you might not want your kids looking at it, even it if doesn’t seem really bad.

So, I put the warnings there as a courtesy more than trying to say this game is bad in any way.

Does this mean that the next politician to have a sex scandal can blame it on the video game industry?

This “Thing” is more like a powerpoint slides for people to fap than a GAME.

  • HappyHansel

This would be more fun with a Trailer Park version. Seriously.

It’s an interesting concept. The title is basically a dare- Seduce me – if you can.

I feel that is to safe.
I like the painted images- going for a erotic graphic novel feel but with the mini card game if just doesn’t fit unless the card game was an actual card game that the characters are playing as a form of truth or dare/strip erotic poker.

This safe approach comes from the marketing a game like this in the USA.
As an american i can say USA is ok with movies like Faces of Death or other highly violent rewarding media but if a fashion magazine shows a nipple, omg!? freak out.

American culture is so afraid of sex and the human body other then selling products or surgery to alter your body.

Back to the topic of Seduce me and erotic games in general-

Games generally bring you into another world and activates your imagination, which is why some old 2D games can be fun even today.

Erotic games should look at how can we take the player on a trip but allow them to use their/ or stimulate their imagination (not talking what you think- taking the Brain)

These games could take you on a erotic novel adventure but have you solve things like puzzles and conversations with npcs. Something more romantic in themes with a spice of flirting/teasing.

The other form is to go full uncensored erotic but it should always have something to pull the player through the game narrative like a good book.

    ok, i rambles enough
