By now, we all know that Diablo III didn’t have what many would consider the most successful of launches. Blizzard was quick to apologize. However, the apology did come with the announcement that the real-money auction house would be delayed.
Now, according to a post from community manager Nethaera on Battle.net the auction house release date is still up in the air. Nethaera states that: “In light of the post-launch obstacles we’ve encountered, we have made the decision to move the launch of the real-money auction house beyond the previously estimated May time frame.”
The community manager goes on to say that this is in order to address all existing issues before launching the auction house as Blizzard wants to “ensure everyone has the smoothest experience possible” when it goes live.
As of now, there is no new launch date.
Personally, I don’t think I mind waiting for the auction house for a while, so long as it works well when it comes out.
What about you?
