Damn Pokket is stunning !! Guild Wars is going awesome game for PvP.. Rift is done it had a lot of potential but turned into a big bust !!

I don’t remember the exact number (whether it was 1500) or the reference point as it’s been a while. However when they do refer to “unique events” they are not talking about the chains. So one event chain might have 6 unique events in it.

For guild wars 2, when they said 1500 unique events, did they mean unique event chains or just unique events? I ask because when he was giving the example, he was like destroy that turret to trigger an event to destroy this turret, then destroy that to trigger this other event, ect. so I’m wondering if those individual events count towards their 1500 or if the event chain is all that is counted.

Garry, how about chrono trigger for a time travel mmo?

I am a fan of RIFT, but I don’t think I qualify as being a “fangirl” necessarily. I enjoy and have enjoyed A LOT of video games, not just RIFT.

In all fairness, I was skeptical of RIFT, World of Warcraft, Aion, Warhammer, AoC, Darkfall, League of Legends, Vindictus, you get the idea… but I still played them and some I ended up playing longer while others I eventually stopped due to a number of different reasons…

I am just as skeptical of GW2 as I am SWTOR and any other game that has yet to be released. If I question either games, it’s not to say that I think they are going to be bad, but rather… it’s going to take me playing the game to fully believe that the game is good…

And people are right, I haven’t played many games like GW, so I’m going to compare it to the closest thing that I have. In this particular instance, it was RIFT. If it had been more suitable to compare it to a game like Hello Kitty Island Adventure, then I would have used that comparison instead, but that wasn’t the case. ~.^

Whether a game is sub based or not, people can invest money and a lot of time into playing these and, as someone who has played A LOT of video games (including MMOs), I only request something “better than the last” game that released. Whether it is similar, or completely different, it just has to be better, more entertaining, and have something about it that makes me want to keep playing. I won’t settle for “it’s an okay game…I guess I can keep playing it dotdotdot”

I just hope some of these upcoming games don’t let me down!
