Love this addon, each time I hear Darnell it makes me smile. I was on LFR earlier and I got two crits so it was like “BOOM, YEAH” right as the group killed spine, it was the perfect moment.

Just a FYI my addon doesnt do any of the BOOM or DING when i crit is it cause i dont have the updated one?

  It was randomized so that you wouldn’t hear it on every critical hit in 1.1b. As people were critting too often and all you would hear was BOOM-DING-YEAH-BOOM-DING.

  Crits were added in 1.1, weren’t in the 1.0 tease. Then fixed up in 1.1b.

Downloaded the addon and I love it, but the disco cub music seems to be empty. Even going into the file and listening to it and there is nothing there as far as sound

  Disco Cub music was removed due to copyright. I’m hoping MikeB can do a NegativePH remix of some disco music for it for the next version.

As much as I love Darnell… I installed the add on and it’s awesome, really, it is. Problem is, it seems to overwrite or whatever all the soundfiles for all characters, no matter if you have the add on shut on or not and your original sounds are kind of gone once you uninstall the addon…Any idea how to retrieve them?

  That’s your in game emotes and error speeches turned off.
  
  If it is left on, then you will get both the game emote speech and Darnell speech at the same time.
  In v1.2, I’ve added an option to make it so that you can turn that off and thus, have both in game and Darnell talking at the same time.
  
  God knows why people would want that, but there’s obviously some who do, hence your post.
  
  At the moment, Darnellify *will* automatically turn OFF your in game emote error speech and you can’t stop it from doing it unless you turn off Darnellify.
  
  As mentioned though, v1.2 will have an option for you people who want both.

  If you need instructions on how to turn on and off your error speech and emotes:
  
  1: Press Escape Key to bring up the Game Menu2: Click the ‘Options’ Menu Button
  3: Select the ‘Sound’ Option
  4: Tick the ‘Error Speech’ tick box to turn it on.
  5: Tick the ‘Emote Sounds’ tick box to turn it on.
  6: Click the ‘Okay’ button.
  
  Your sounds are not ‘overwritten’ or ‘gone’, they’re right there.
