This week on GuildCast, Guild Wars 2 Queen’s Jubilee update revealed, an account-wide wallet for all, and more!
Richie Procopio is back from vacation and talks about some Guild Wars 2 with Mike Schaffnit and Matt Visual! Kiel and Gnashblade are the center of attention at the moment but come August 6th it’s Queen Jennah’s turn to shine! The Guild Wars 2 Queen’s Jubilee living story celebrates Jennah’s ten year reign as Queen and, naturally, it comes with some new content for players to enjoy!
Queen’s Jubilee Content
Jennah is setting up a gladiatorial arena, the Crown Pavilion, “as a shining symbol of her peoples’ endurance”. The Crown Pavilion is assumed to be a mini-zone where we’ll be fighting against “representations of humanity’s enemies”. Hopefully humanity means humanoids otherwise the Charr might get a little upset since humans and Charr have a bit of history where Ascalon is concerned. Hot air balloons will be around Tyria to offer travel to Divinity’s Reach. There will also be beacon lighting in Divinity’s Reach which will extend across Kryta. An awesome mini game that will come in this living story patch is the Queen’s Gauntlet. In this game, you’ll fight solo against opponents and they get harder and harder as you progress.
Excuse me for a second. Ahem… FINALLY! Ok, glad I got that out. ArenaNet is finally helping out with managing bank space with all the currencies Guild Wars 2 has by giving players a wallet dedicated to currency. Gold, gems, laurels, karma, dungeon and other types of tokens, badges of honor and so on; they all go into this wallet and all your characters can access it since the wallet is account wide! This is a pretty awesome and convenient thing for players to have.
All that and more…

And remember, we love getting viewer questions. If you have a question to send to the crew, you can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. And, if you want to make a video question, be sure it’s around 30 seconds long and you send us a YouTube link.
And, as always… If you missed last week’s episode, be sure to check it out here.
