This week on Legendary, Blizzard takes scenarios in a different direction on the 5.2 PTR, limited attempts are back and Blizzcon 2013 is on the horizon!
Blizzcon is back, baby! That’s right, guys. Prepare for World of Warcraft cosplay, StarCraft 2 tournaments and quite a bit of drunken debauchery. The date is set a little later this year — November 8th and 9th. Why so late this year? Well, Blizzcon does tend to be a venue of all Blizzard announcements, so perhaps there’s something big that they’re waiting to show us.
Prepare your wallets, guys. Because, once Blizzcon 2013 tickets go on sale, they don’t seem to stick around for long.
Diablo III, meet PlayStation.
For those of you who were under a rock earlier this week, Sony held a little event to introduce the PlayStation 4. Blizzard made an appearance and announced that Diablo III would be made available on both the PS3 and PS4.
Of course, this alliance now has Blizzard fans wondering if we will be seeing the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft make the jump to console, or even the mysterious Titan? The transition from PC to console might seem a little weird for a lot of WoW players, but would it bring in new fans? And, well, we still don’t know much of anything about Titan yet, so we could speculate all day on that one.
The PvP season draws to an end.
That’s right, Blizzard has officially announced that the current PvP season will be ending on March 5th. So what everyone wants to know now is: Does that mean patch 5.2 will drop on the 5th as well? Or, will we need to wait a week?
Patch 5.2 scenarios are just a little different…
A new scenario named “Trove of the Thunder King” landed with the latest beta patch and it’s just a little different than what players have seen before. First. IT’s a one-player scenario — no groups allowed. Second. It’s apparently designed to be a shopping on Black Friday simulator. Grab as many things as you can and get out alive!
StarCraft Universe Has A Trailer?!
That’s right guys, you may have thought it was gone, but StarCraft Universe is still in production and you can check the trailer out right here. Maybe this is what they want to show us at Blizzcon 2013?
All this and more…
