Well like Lore has said Theramore was never an event from the start, people just assumed it was.

  They did describe it as the launch event a while back, but walked it back to tech demo pretty quickly. Like all blue posts though, any wrong or changed information is held as false promises.

Not entirely my fault, I have only seen Olivia once on this show. How should I remember what her voice sounded like!

I have 6 level 85 toon’s but only one that had an iLevel high enough to enter. Total bullshit considering how ultra easy it was. That was just a bs move by blizz.

About it being too easy or “lame”. I really don’t think that is what really bothered people. I think that it’s rewards for running it SUCKED!!!! If they gave us something better like tmog gear, a mount or even a pet then people might had enjoyed it more. Awe well.

Lotro, Rift are MMORPG with scenarios playable by 2/3 people, they are not difficult at all and they are only usefull for who are without guild.

If the scenario’s are so hated ask Blizzard how many players play them no?

The Dynamic Events in GW2 do help the server. The high lvl zones have group events required to unlock the Dungeons.

Wow. 3 major patchs with MOP? Let say you guys have 5.1 1 month after, it means you will get 2 patch in the next year and a half (before next exp)!!! Prefer to stay in rift and pay 8$/month and have 10 major major patch in 1 and half year. I played 4 years in wow paying 14$/month before going to rift, and I’m happy I left …

I think this episode was the happiest Gary has been lately doing Legendary and that’s cause something blizzard did failed and he’s so excited. Get Mike S to host legendary and let Gary work on other shows (gw2) cause he just wants Wow to fail. Don’t get me wrong Gary is an awesome host and great on shows where he’s into the game, but he has just lost something for wow and should pass over the torch for this show cause his attitude and consistent gw2 (monster over-hyped game imo) references are hurting this show.

The design of a “scenerio” in general looks alike like the public quest system in Warhammer Online. Repeatable mini-story events with several tiers or stages. The difference is you queue for them instead of show up at a particular place in the world and up to everyone can do them on the server (you get placed in a random group).

I don’t think they intended this to be a major release event for MOP but just a new aspect of the game to show off. So if you want to grind xp in game you can gather, pvp, quest, dungeons and now you have scenerios as well.

if they had added story to theramore it wouldnt have been so bad. i mean if you havnt read the book or the forums you dont really know what the hell is going on….. i mean rhonin died to save jaina (im horde) and we dont see that at all. we are meant to just believe that jaina and others are gonna wake up on wednesday and hate horde and garrosh when she has always been the peacekeeper

The scenario got such bad rap, very few folks were queuing for the scenario.

My guild was grouping up for the guild rewards and helping out some of the returning players.

But, they don’t need the i384 level helm or weapon and they are JP capped.

  The xpac is epic, it’s just Blizz typical overcorrection. Blizzard gets complaints they did not spend enough time on the new zones in Cata. So, they put everything into Pandaria.

my favourite part of the entire 4.x patch cycle was the elemental invasion event, so what if some noobs got killed while afking in a city it was still awesome.

Theramore, I liked it…the first time. The Horde side makes sense, in the book Garrosh sends in a small team to rescue the traitorous mage (Thalen Songweaver aka the elf you rescue) and to dismantle Theramore’s air defenses (griffons) and escape route (ships), so at least that makes sense. The tank…no clue what the devs were smoking there. Also, the book’s description of the destruction was a little more complete, as in almost everything being leveled, not just a hole in the ground.

The Alliance side however…didn’t happen. The whole thing is just randomly made up BS to match the Horde side. The Mana Bomb is supposed to be a near nuclear device with similar radiation, you’d be feeling bad. Jaina was in KILL ALL THE ORCS mode at the time, by herself wiping out a platoon of orcs looking for any survivors before getting the Focusing Iris; she did not have help and she certainly was not that calm. Hell, her secretly having the Focusing Iris was a plot point, secrets and witnesses don’t mix. Supposedly the Alliance side was supposed to be going on at the same time as the Horde one does, with them defending the gates, but the devs changed it.
