There was a Brawler’s Guild in Fable. At a certain time in certain cities, you would phase into a boxing ring that took away your weapons, armor and spells and tested your mettle while npcs encircled you. Who knows how such a system would be implemented in an MMO.

Id like to see Blizz drop the group requirement for old raids. It would so fun to run a level 90 through old level 60 and 70 raids for the transmog and achieves.

You should do what I did back before quitting in cata, assuming your PC can handle it Make a trial account & level some random toon to level 10 (back then at least you couldn’t make a raid with anyone lower then level 10 but I assume that hasn’t changed) which doesn’t take long.

Then you can log in both accounts from the same PC at the same time & invite your Lv 10 toon to join you and you’re set to convert to raid. After joining group you can log out of the trial account.

Only annoying thing is you need to log in with another email address (just make another with gmail, yahoo, or whatever you prefer) but you can click the launcher to open another to use to log in. I have a 2nd monitor so always played in windowed mode which made it easier.

      • Carl Dafw

You can log into the same battle net email account as long as they are two seperate wow accounts.

So I actually enjoy dailies. During Cata I only played heals and Tank because of queue wait times. With dailies i’m perfectly happy to be DPS and do dailies while waiting for the queue.

Is it only me or does lately in all streams and videos the audio is like more to the right… it gives me headache and my ocd drives me crazy.

    Please fix this Gary!

    • Carl Dafw

Yeah I noticed too, it sounded that way on the stream on twitch as well.

I hate when people see the MM in MMO as only being relevant to grouping with others. MMO means Massively Multiplayer Online that just means there are a lot of people sharing the same space and are interacting with one another because of that shared space. Playing solo and competing with people for resource nodes and quest spawns and just plain seeing other people in a vibrant and alive world is just as much Multyplayer as getting together with your buddies to run a raid.

really we are going to back to black temple which is on another planet and no one sees a problem with that?

really? we are going back to black temple which is on another planet and no one sees a problem with that?

#1. Comparison to GW2 WvW is completly pointless… in GW2 ot took huge amount of iterations to find realms which can fight eachother at same level… very few WoW realms will realy enjoy forced open pvp, without one faction overruning other completly.

#2. Maybe lets fight so tomorrow we get less dailies, or other faction have to do more dailies for same rewards ? :o … but realy, see point #1.

  • Krzysztof Kotarba

People cry about f2p games that are grindy and here they pay sub fee for same thing hidden under blue “!”.

Open world pvp in WoW dies few weeks after release such zone.
Brawlers thing is kinda lame because wow is static combat, so only op classes like palas or dk and tankers, what healer or cloth dps will do?

    • Sharuko

What a bunch of BS with zero facts.  With cross realm zones there is more world PvP today than anytime ever in WoW.  And it has nothing to do with Pandaria because the world PvP is in all zones.

Secondly, I would go far as to say if Blizzard keeps this up.   MoP has potential to be even better than BC.  It will probably be the best WoW product, ever. There is a reason why WoW dominates the MMO market almost 8 years after its release crushing every hyped up game in its way.

They make solo Content, because MOST PEOPLE play the game solo, and just join little guilds, or guilds and simply play the game solo, the casual gamer doesn’t do all the group content, this is something they’ve said before, why are people surprised about this? Are you people so out of touch with other MMO players that you don’t REALIZE that the majority of WoW players, don’t *do* raiding/group content?

When I see either Blue or Yellow exclimation marks over npc’s heads these days I feel like jumping in the bath with my toaster. 85-90 is such a horrible grind, and the dailys are insane. It just never ends!

  • http://www.facebook.com/kayla.roese Kayla Roese

I want to go back to Kara… so bad. :( Please Blizz, please.

  • http://twitter.com/crusadernero Crusadernero

Dont get the huge hate for dailys. The xpac has been out for a short while. You got around two years to get exalted with all factions if you want to be that.

You really dont need to do all dailys every freaking day. You wont have enough VP anyway for all items when you reach exalted.

For raiders, most exalted factions dont give very good items anyway. It’s mostly vanity. There is this illution that you HAVE TO do the dailys.. you dont

  • Sharuko

Blizzard is a company that builds and designs the game based on actual stats from players themselves.  They didn’t randomly decide to put dailies back in after they skipped them in WotLK and Cataclysm.  They probably looked at some stats and realized that there is a huge segment of the population that liked doing dailies.  Isle of Quel’Danas and Netherwing were really popular hubs in BC.

There is a massive casual population that likes to progress without having to do raids or even dungeons.  With dailies these super casuals can do a set of dailies get some sort of progression and even gear and enjoy their playing time.  I look at dailies as a alternate means to get gear for casuals.  I personally like doing dailies, I log in for an hour after work and do two sets of dailies and log off.  I feel a sense of progression and am satisfied.

Also, about the “server wide” buff.  WoW did this in BC in Hellfire, Terrokar Forest and Halaa, it isn’t a “GW2″ thing.

    So some notes on Mages..

First off according to blizzard pyroblast was given a cd because of pvp… They have stated multiple times it’s not meant to be a nerf in pvp although it definitely is.

One other thing to note the Luck factor of fire mages is much rarer then people seem to give credit for.

Also for frost water elemental freeze always generates 1 Fingers of Frost and 2 if it freezes more than 2 target.

@olivia Gladiator LOS only calls out CC not all the spells that would be annoying
