  I love how in one video Lore says he doesn’t care about nerfs to old content. Then in this he’s upset over old content.
  
  It doesn’t hurt him in anyway shape or form whether people get T500 gear from doing normal Deadmines at 85:P
  
  He doesn’t have to. Let him wipe in Firelands for months if that’s his thing. If people are only after the gear then they get theirs. It doesn’t matter.
  
  It’s about the Raid. If it was only about the gear then WoW is really in trouble down the line. You can only over inflat gear for so long before everyone turns into a Raid Boss themselves. But that’s Blizzard’s answer to PvP. Just pack the HPs on everyone that will balance it. Whatever.
  
  It why I quit WoW. Blizzard answer to everything is more Stats. And not just small gains. Let’s go from 50 Stam to 300 on every piece. And if that doesn’t work nerf healers again:P

    Notice that too, for Lore something is ok on PST or The Weekly Marmot but on Legendary is the end of the world (of warcraft). Gary does the same. Rift have a bug: “Trion will fix it, no problem”; WoW have a bug: “Really Blizz, really?”. Rift end game done in hours: “It was only elite players”; WoW end game done in days: “Really Blizz, really?”.

      And as several people have said I don’t see why the valor change is a big deal, you barely get any VP from the t11 at all. And I’m not just saying this because it benefits me, my guild hasn’t touched T11 content since Firelands came out, even our alt 10 man does Firelands.

        @Braskar and Shadow, I’ve seen it as well. It really drives me nuts sometimes how blind they can be to themselves.
        
        As a few have mentioned, doing all of t11 gets you the same VP as 3 troll dungeons. Is that really an issue? I am not going to be doing them for VP most likely due to the need for people when I can just queue up for a, usually, easier, more efficient, and more productive ride. I like that it’s an option, but that’s all it is.
        
        Oh, last point Lore. We don’t all do 25 man and we aren’t all full clearing yet. I’m happy you can get all your VP in Firelands, but even on my best day, I cannot ever cap on current raid bosses alone in 10 man. 120 x 8 = 960 < 980. I know your math skills suck, but frankly you sound like an idiot when you fail to think it through.

      Yeah Gary seems to have a bias that definitely favors Trion, while just about everything Blizzard does is wrong in his eyes. And yeah I’m starting to notice Lore becoming a bit two faced as well. I wonder when this show is going to degenerate into a live version of the WoW forums or the MMO champion forums where there are so many people hating on the game but for some odd reason those people can’t stop talking about WoW, hell most of them hate the game so much but yet continue to play it.
      
      I’ll continue to watch the show, at least until the above happens.

In regards to 500+ hours it isnt uncommmon to be wiping 30-50 times a night. So you could just call that 10-13 raid nights. less if theyre especially fast at running back (mass rez ftw)

you know blizz probably has 2 or 3 more patches ready. theyre waiting on bioware to give a release date for swtor, so they can get 1 or 2 patches out before hand, to keep players happy, then theyre gonna drop deathwing the day before or day of swtor release. untill bioware has a release i wouldnt expect any content.

Yeah, while I loved the use of EotT (damn that songs gonna be stuck in my head all day! lol) I was a bit surprised by Lore’s reaction to the VP change… In many of his other shows he’s displayed a greater grasp of the core issues at play, rather than focusing on irrelevent symptoms.

The issue is the AMOUNT of VP available from “old content” not WHICH old content awards VP….

There’s a reason “old content” awards VP. Remember BC, sunwell? Remember trying to recruit, or switch mains at the end of that exp? New players, new recruits and alts couldn’t just hop into that content, they had to be “geared up” by re-running old raids… Blizz decided that was an issue, their fix? allow introductory content to award current tier currency. (that model started in WotLK with badges). It changed slightly as we entered Cata as Blizz put a “cap” on the amount you could get. (btw there was no “cap” in LK… there was a max, but that is different. My car has a max speed, but a speed limit “caps” that speed to how fast I can go with-out breaking the law)

Now considering Blizz’s reasons for allowing “old content” to award VP (see paragraph above) why does it matter if that VP comes from old raids or 5 mans? What matters is HOW MUCH vp those old raids and 5 mans award. Blizz really needs to look at those numbers…

  Assuming you will only be doing t11 normals in 10 man, at 35 valor points per boss, that amounts to 12×35=420 valor points which, isn’t even half the cap.

I begin to think that Blizzard is trying to kill WoW themself with their patches.
I am sooo glad i am not playing WoW right now.
And i gat to add if BW is doing something similare to SWTOR i will cry.

A new hero healing class..Blizzard should look into working it sort of like Justicar healing abilities or Chloromancers from Rift. A Healer that heals through DPS..only give them some sort of charges like Holy Power they gain from DPS like the Justicars do in Rift for their healing abilities and have limited castable heals without their charges.

I don’t know if it has already been said when SC2 Universe will be released, but I would guess that the release won’t be until Heart of the Swarm when the advanced Mod/Map Shop is put in place. I honestly don’t think Blizzard would let this amazing use of their game engine go without a price, so Blizzard could get a cut of the profit.

I don’t see the big deal with the Valor from T11 normals. the bigger issue is getting Valor from heroics. But to get the cap you have to do ZG/ZA over and over. Not everyone has 7/7 firelands, many only have a couple bosses down and therefore only get a couple hundred a week. So it’s nice to not have to go do ZG/ZA every week to finish off getting capped.

Anyways, great show.

lore i understand while your upset about the valor point change but i feel that the change to allow tier 11 content to drop valor points was a good change. I am currently in a situation where my guild doesn’t have the means to clear firelands bosses yet, except we still are running tier 11 content to gear up for our 10 man. This change saves us time in the aspect that i don’t ever have to run those horrible troll heroics ever again and get a minor reward for doing a semi more challenging task
