Are you an Annual Pass holder and not in the Mists of Pandaria beta?

Well it looks like you are now in the minority, because Blizzard is throwing out invitations in enough waves to make a tsunami. A staggering 550,000 beta invites have gone out to eager World of Warcraft fans. Which isn’t all good news — particularly when it causes more lines than old age. Is Blizz just trying to accommodate fans, or is there some testing for new tech going on?

Either way, consider the stress tested.

Ghostcrawler got chatty about glyphs this week, is having a Prime Glyph with a downside an “interesting choice” or just a pain in the neck?

Blizzard announces solo “lored-up” instances. A fun time to learn your character or just another reason to ignore everybody?

      He does troll a lot, but I would much rather see Gary who has much more personality than some mindless kid. IMO best solution is start having four people on the show. Maybe not even all the time. I don’t mind Mike S and the his gamebreaker storys, but when it comes to Legendary, I wanna see MikeB, Gary, and Lore! and maybe occationally MikeS.
      
      Just my opinion though. I am not trying to be harsh, i just think Gary does a better job, and keeps the show fun.

        How is he to get better without practice? You’re doing great Mike S. I would be fine with you here on a permanent basis. You are getting better with every episode. Keep up the good work. There are always comment when GBTV adds/changes hosts. Gannon is great but Schaffnit is great as well and getting better!

  As crazy as it sounds and as far in the minority as it puts me, I wont watch it until he comes back. Mike does a fine job but there is something unique about the banter and chemistry Gary has. I look at it like the British Top Gear show. Could you replace Captain Slow or the Hamster? Maybe. Could you replace the tall bastard? Tall order but it could be done. But what happens to the show when you do. I saw the first one with Mike, then never get past the intro for any of the other. I keep waiting for Gary to sing over the music…

What a lot of people don’t realize is that whenever Blizz adds something to WoW like the Pet Battle System or Farmville, that generates revenue for whoever created the original content as well because it will get some people interested in Pokemon, Farmville, etc. When Blizzard implemented the Plants Vs. Zombies quest in Hillsbrad, I actually bought PvZ off Steam afterwards. I used to be a big Pokemon fan (still am, though not as big) and I’m sure my love of Pokemon will be rekindled once I get to be hands-on with the Pet Battle System. Yes, some people will say “Blizz is stealing from Pokemon!” but I think that a cross-over of ideas like that is good for the gaming industry as a whole.

The feedback isn’t enabled, but people ARE submitting bug feedback on the MoP beta forums. It’s highly inconvenient and is most likely cutting down on the amount of feedback they’re getting right now, but it is happening.

But yeah, it does feel like beta-play more than beta-test right now.

Other MMOs have perfect chance now to get ppl out of WOW. DS is already boring as hell and ppl will be looking elsewhere. I played SWTOR last night and its sure is better game in pretty much every sense. Some tuning will make it even better. Guild Wars will get alot of ppl playing it and they will realise some of the shortcomings that WOW is dealing with atm. Biggest one beeing that ppl are locked down to one way of playing each spec. That will hurt WOW when ppl have palyed GW2

I think Mike S is doing a fantastic job filling the shoes of GG. The last couple of months when GG was hosting, the shows were really getting out of hand and were not focusing on the content, important info that people like me, were tuning into watch. I feel Mike S is taking the shows back into the direction that they were meant to be in. With that being said, in this point in time, I feel that bringing GG back would be a step backwards to be honest. Having him as a guest host here and there would be nice, if the show stays on track… This is Gamebreaker.tv “Video Game Television” it’s in the title.. Not “funny” youtube videos equal to dick and fart jokes television. Ignore the trolls Mike S. Your doing an excellent job! Keep it up!

Regarding prime glyphs, how is that different from how many choices you have of what to put in a red gem slot? Point is, there are very few things that actually depend on player preference. For a serious dps raider, pretty much all gem, enchant, and reforging choices are made for you; whatever gives the most dps. Tanks and healers have a little more freedom, but not much.

I dont think GW2 will bring TOO much competition to wow. Gw2 will surely sell alot of boxes at release because of overhype and many ppl expect it to be amazing. Dont get me wrong, it will be a good game!

I just think GW2 will be more of a niche game than anything else. The more I hear about it, the more I am convinced about that. WoW gives something for everyone in a playstyle not to far off while gw2 got so much going on at the same time it’s gonna be difficult for many.
