Lazy Americans.. yep. for the most part. I’m a High School Teacher and we are sick and tired of people blaming the Education System for the deficiencies of students and the discrepancy in scores versus other nations. OUR CULTURE IS LAZY. During a conversation with a student he said something very profound and insightful and revealing: he said that students are aware that the blame is focused on the teacher’s and so students feel less compelled to do anything about it. Plus, “slacker” is kind of cool to American youths; in Finland this is not the case and so their students destroy ours. Teacher’s have problems getting students to take seriously even subjects they claim they’re interested in… and so im not surprised that they dont excel in even videogames. Games are very much a mental activity, and quicker minds, more developed minds, smarter minds, students who have engaged their schooling seriously will obviously dominate weaker american minds.

    That kind of arrogance is part of the problem. Just look at how the American youth ranks in educational statistics around the world. The education problem is only getting worse.
    
    I don’t find that most Americans bruise easily, and they recognize this doesn’t mean the demise of great American universities, companies, or families.

People always say they want it to be about skill only for PvP, but then they enjoy stomping other people without the gear, feeling it’s all skill.

  pvp skill is in equal gear situation- in theory… Sadly arena in WoW is not balanced. I saw rank 1 team got destroyed in 1 GCD. No skill in that just burst down using 1 macro. Wpvp is just like killing for fun. I was ganked many many times also ganked ppl, It’s not fair but it’s fun.

Gary, Brawl’lar (Horde Brawlers Guild) is really a social event. While there is queued PVE content, its more about the social elements. Players talking about their Brawlers Guild invites, chat about the fights, cheer on Bruce against the new invites, throwing food at the players, fighting with the enraged NPCs.

Even encourages World PVP, by occasionally spawning a portal to Stormwind, so players can attack the opposing factions Brawlers Guild.

I played 10 free days MoP… Game feels old, I’m used to some things from GW2 and I did things that not suppose to do like helping people in pve, press “f” to talk/activate

I played my old spriest… It’s nice blizz fixed class, it was boring in cata.
Do CRZ works? Whole world is empty, noone plays in leveling zones :/
I must say pandaria looks very good, detailed enviroment overall feel very pleasant.
TBH I miss only 2 things from WoW – my forsaken and shadowform.

  Welcome back.
  - Lol, it’s always funny when people are surprised WoW plays like WoW.
  
  - Once I got uses to the interact key (f) in GW2 I liked it, but can’t recommend it as a standard best practices UI feature. Sadly it allows for BOTS that run across the game map spamming the f key, completing hearts and farming nodes. Guess it’s better MMO design to require players to look for visual clues before interacting with the environment.
  
  - CRZ. Where you in Pandaria? CRZ is not active on for the new content. To experience CRZ, you need to go through the older content. Beware of the Dark Portal and the first few zones in Outland, a real gankfest in PvP realms.
  
  - A month or so after launch, I do find the 85 to 87 natural leveling paths in Pandaria to be a little underpopulated. The Jade Forest is heavily phased and a little too structured. After breaking out of the Jade Forest, you really have alot of zones to explore. So, I’m not surprised you didn’t see other players. It’s not until level 87 or 88 that the leveling content starts funneling players back into questing areas.
  
  - Most of the level 90 players are clumped around daily questing hubs. You start having organic groups forming again. The good news is the mini-bosses are no longer “combat tapped.” So you don’t have to be in a group to get credit for the mini-boss kills.
  
  - I agree with you about the forsaken. I’m having a blast leveling my Undead Monk. When Blizzard finally updates the Undead graphics and models, I hope it doesn’t change the “flavor” of the forsaken.
  
  - I do find the PvP to be closer to Lich King, instead of Cata. While it is all about big hits and high damage. It’s less about RNG crits, but more about skill-based setting up procs and loading up for the massive damage abilities. The gear just makes you hit harder and live longer. But, if you don’t interrupt those load-ups, your character is going to take alot of damage. So, if you have to be aware of what is happening around you in PvP.

@Lore, about the how gamers need something to work towards to keep playing games. First thing that came to mind was minecraft. As of a little while ago it now how a boss and end game, but that’s not what attracted people to it. I don’t think people need something to work towards to enjoy a game, and I like it less when people try to force that on to me. I still watch this show ever week but have unsubbed from WoW. I wish they made gear similar to challenge modes and you spend conquest on a few different sets of cosmetic gear. I think everyone is happy in that situation, you get cool new gear while pvp being about skill.

  Clearly Lores discussion was around Guild Wars 2. While GW2 is doing fine as an MMO, it’s not really thriving.
  
  But with your comment about Challenge Mode, it would be interesting to see if Blizzard could do Challenge Modes in BGs and Arenas. Normalize everyone’s gear and let them duke it out. Blizzard has the technology, but does the player base have the will to PvP without the gear reward.

Why do you keep denigrate people who likes doing dailyes like we are some idiots I know we are not many but still we are some people who playes wow for the dailyes cous we think they are fun. Just becouse u dont like dailyes and like doing other stuff, STOP hating us plz. I been watching every episode of pst, legendary and the weeklt marmot but u seems to hate people more and more for doing dailyes, and you menchent it every episode of every show since mop launched, I am getting sick of it, but I am sure u dont care about 1 person who dosent agree on all u saying…….

I just watched this episode of Legendary straight after TWIMMO and its amazing the difference that Olivia and Pokket bring to their shows. Everyone seems happier and more energetic and engaged on Legendary, while on Twimmo, it seems Pokket is frowning in every second shot of her. Olivia seems to be someone who enjoys being on the show while with Pokket it seems sometimes she considers the show beneath her. Amazing contrast.
Gary also seemed a lot more relaxed and enjoying himself on Legendary, which felt much more of an ensemble piece than on Twimmo.

  Olivia’s video quality is looking much improved with the updated camera setup, and she seems very fun.

    Pokket is usually the type of girl i usually like, but its hard to get over the almost constant scowl she had on her face in Twimmo. I just think watching the two shows straight after the other was enlightening, one seemed like everyone was having fun, and enthusiastic about what they were discussing. The other seemed to be very negative, and came across as chorelike.
