Legendary 73: Beta Invites Hit For Everyone (Almost)

If you bought an Annual Pass and you’re not in beta, now you can QQ.

A whopping 400,000 new invites were sent out Wednesday night — news broken before anybody by us on GAMEBREAKER /flex — which apparently adds up to all of the remaining Annual Pass holders.

Totaling a staggering 1.2 million players currently trying to click first on quest NPCs Mists of Pandaria.

However, some unlucky people have not yet got the access they were expecting, apparently because some of the invites were “bounced back.” Are Blizzard‘s beta keys made of rubber?

Hopefully, the last of the unfortunate folks waiting to get in will be getting their access soon.

Battletag support was implemented!

Kind of.

To do invites using Battletag you simply have to log into the Diablo III beta, hop over the mulberry bush, perform the Orc dance blindfolded and…well there’s something else, but I lost track.

Surely this is just a bug? Or is Blizz making Battletag this ridiculous to keep the numbers down?

Boomkin Mirror Image? Lots of fun can be had with the new Symbiosis ability, we look at the possibilities.

Throw in mobile alerts and your viewer questions and the team has much to discuss.

So climb on your mechano-hog and race through the week’s World of Warcraft news; with Josh “Lore” Allen, Mike B aka Fony and Gary Gannon, this is Legendary!

The I shall QQ, I’ve had my AP since October last year and still no Beta. :( Please hurry up and fix this Blizzard.

Still not listed in your Battle Net account.  I stopped scanning my emails for the beta invite and just periodically reviewed my World of Warcraft accounts.

      • 7BitBrian

I always check my battle.net account page, emails take to long. Still no Beta. :(

I finally got my “invite”, I too was also routinely checking my Bnet account rather than waiting for the actual email. I had to wait until the “Final wave” of invites, whereas others have been playing for almost a solid month now? Nice Blizzard, thanks for treating customers unequally. And yes, I bought my AP for the D3 copy and Beta Access EXCLUSIVELY, not because I would probably play WoW for a solid year but because I wanted those two perks. “When it goes live..” my ass..

it saddens me im one of the few ppl with a account from 2005 & AP from the day it opened with out beta

    Love the show!

To add to the viewer question about LFR for normal mode:  I would like that only because I leveled my rogue to experience the legendary quest chain, but could not raid during normal raid times due to my work schedule.  The flip side, they could just make it doable in LFR as well.  Yeah it would allow for more legendaries out there, but with so much work that went into creating all that content, is it really a bad thing for more people to experience it?

P.S.  I’m not changing my career to one that allows for me to make raid times as they are now (Tue-Thu 8pm-midnight). lol

Random normals wouldn’t work to many people are all ready failing at LFR they would get destroyed in normals. Also you leveled a rogue to get the legendaries but you can’t raid ? That’s your own fault, legendaries should *NEVER* be accisble from LFR, they’ve all ready made it way noob accessible with over nerfed normals/heroics and legendaries from normals. You won’t be able to get the best gear in the game from normal mode in D3, I don’t see why they have to in wow (yeah I know lot’s of noobs play WoW but they can give them other stuff to do imo).

ANNUAL PASS AND NO BETA Q_Q

  • Bent Harley Lybech

Hmm, the reason for the increase in annual pass subs, is probably due to the cause that D3 got a release date and is getting closer.

not everyone sign for the annual pass to get in the MoP beta ;-)

    • Jeremy Whallon

Agreed. If I were to do the Annual Pass, I would’ve waited until Diablo 3 was about to be released and then signed up for it. This way I’d get the game I want and when MoP comes out my subscription would still have at least four months left to do all of the content.

arcane mage… 1 button… how you can make this easier?

I got My bate in this group but didn’t get the e-mail for like 3-4 days. So maybe that is what the problem was. I was on the beta play for 2 days before getting the e-mail telling me I could do that.

Frost mages have more spells in the current MoP beta than they do in Cata. But I did notice the warrior thing as well Mike.

The new setup looks cool I just dont understand why you didnt get screens with thinner borders so the 4 parts of the image would have less “black space” in between.

Samsung screens have really thin borders and one of the reason why i love them
