The GAMEBREAKER staff recently decided it might be fun to try out Cards Against Humanity. And since we all live in different parts of the world, we knew we’d have to play online. So… why not share the joy with you, our lovely viewers?

Taking to Google Hangout, eight members of the GAMEBREAKER crew faced off in an epic battle to see who is the most twisted, perverse person on staff. The community even joined in the fun by voting for their favorite cards in the chat.

Viewers are asked to keep in mind that this Pilot episode of LIVE Cards Against Humanity also functioned as a live test for the show. Therefore, some of the details are being worked out on the fly and more changes are to come. But, as it turns out, this is a good way to get backstage look at the GAMEBREAKER team.

In fact, you may be surprised by what you learn.

How does Cards Against Humanity work?

Yeah, so I’m just pulling this from Wikipedia for you…

To start the game, each player draws ten white “answer” cards. One randomly chosen player begins as the Card Czar, and plays a black “question” card. The Card Czar reads the question out to the group. Each player answers the question by passing one white “answer” card, face down, to the Card Czar. The Card Czar shuffles all of the answers, reads them out loud in a humorous fashion, and picks their favorite. Whoever played that answer gets to keep the Black Card as one Awesome Point. After each round, a new player becomes the Card Czar, and every player draws back up to ten cards.

I love Cards against Humanity and I love that this is a thing you guys are doing now. Definitely keep it up. It got a lot better when you started showing the cards on screen as you read them.

This was hilarious but the only issue is that there is a limited number of cards. But I very much enjoy the idea of the GB crew getting to play these types of games as a show. It’s nice to get to see more of the people responsible for some of the behind the scenes work on the site.

The way gary did the questions at the end was perfect so we could read the possible answers so we can still hear everyones reaction was best but to make the game better the winning card that person should take a shot of something atleast 100 proof and play till A) one of the guys____ and or B one of the Girls ____ muhahahaha

I want to thank you guys for making me look into this game. You can dl the whole game from their website(for free) and take it to Staples(or wherever) to get printed and cut. That is what I did. My wife and I host “game night” every Tuesday night with some friends. This week we play Cards against humanity and it was such a hit. Then the black card came around for me to read. I got “Old people smell like ________>” The first card I looked at was “hot cheese” and I lost it for about 3 minutes. I couldn’t even get the words out of my mouth to read the card. I had everyone else rolling on the floor and they still had no idea what card I was trying to read. Thanks you guys for introducing me to this great game! Oh and “hot cheese” trumps “bigger blacker dick” in my house every time now because people just see me in convulsions whenever they use that card.

  It would be fun for the players but it wouldn’t make for fun viewing given that watching drunk people act stupid is pretty boring and annoying when you yourself aren’t drunk and/or hanging out with them and participating.
  
  But, if you are playing CAH with your friends you can add rules like losers drink, when a black card and white card can imply (can’t be explicit) an act against humanity (rape, molestation, abuse etc.) everyone drinks. (e,g, Gary’s black card read: New York’s social elite are paying thousands of dollars to experience and one of the answers was orphaned children – experience could imply molestation or it could just be an innocent meet them kind of deal.) Another liver destroying rule could be consecutive winners drink double/triple/etc for every consecutive win and also the person that read the cards has to drink before they start reading and if it’s still their turn after they’ve had a laughing fit they have to drink again.
