Love the picture for the episode, Gary got griefed by surprise stress test, I left half way through for it.

10s fury with FGJ and 30% boon duration increase from traits.
39s fury from the signet and trait boon duration increase.

useing boon stacking he could have used them in this order.

signet
FGJ
FGJ
FGJ
signet
etc.

and he would have had perminate fury. Do this with a warhorn and you get perminate swiftness as well.

A real world (kind of) application of Calculus 3.That graph and constrained optimization talk brought back some memories. Mostly bad ones, but still.

Great show as always, and please bring Top back, if not make him a permanent addition. I’ve been a regular visitor to his blog since it went up and his videos and analysis are amazing, very thorough.

Also, I’d second (third, fourth?) the requests for links to Tamgros’ graphs/calculations. Keep up the good work guys!

I understand that many reasonable people will just ignore a player that stacks tanky attributes. But it is kind of amazing how many people will focus him or won’t even notice he is extreme tanky spec in random pvp matches. I learned from rift pvp playing as a warlock that people will stand in AOE all day even when it is blatantly obvious with terrain effects they should move out of them. I agree in ranked matches or serious pvp they will just focus the tanky guy for last especially if he is not doing significant damage and is no immediate threat.

  Go to their Web sites, they typically post their builds. I’m more interested in following their laddered play and then reviewing the build they used for the match. Really hoping to see some good matches from the headstart weekend.

It is amazing how many people in a Pug just don’t have a clue. Now I am no expert in PvP but I at least keep moving. If 3 people are on a node, I get the F out of there and go find something to kill or at least take on. HFor being a tank he always delays to jump into the fight and get the initial aggro.This warrior needs to be a CC tank and basically control the fights. That is what I would do with my Mesmer elite Time Warp. Just wish it was a shorter cool down 8(

I just want to comment on the part at 27:30, “I Will Avenge You!” skill that they talked about. It sounds like they didn’t know completely what the skill was for. It doesn’t only rally people in the Downed State, it actually rally people that are fully defeated aswell. I did this on several occassions, especially in jumping puzzles with enemies.

FYI.

My on-the-fly math for the Signet of Rage elite was a bit off, I realized this right after the show.

SoR has a base 30-sec duration for buffs, and the elite has a 60-sec cooldown.

With 30 points in Tactics, you get a 30% increase to boon duration. (For some reason when I did the math I used 40%).

So the effective durations for SoR with 30% is 39 seconds, not 42 seconds.
