The Republic is back with a whole lot of SWTOR news and drama!
This week on The Republic, the guys welcome gest host Matt Bentlage, who brings some PvP knowledge.
But first, players have a bone to pick with Bioware changing the some cosmetic Cartel Market items. Of course, the problem isn’t that the items were changed, but that they were changed after people bought them. Of course, players weren’t happy, so find out how Bioware dealt with the issue.
In other SWTOR news, we have patch notes! Good news guys, you can now purchase additional character slots with cartel coins. Of course the cost varies depending on whether you are subscribed or not. And, there are some more details on update 1.7, Return of the Gree.
We also learned that Gary is very fascinated with multiboxers, hackers and cheaters and the psychology behind why people enjoy doing those things. While, multiboxers aren’t really being lumped in with hackers and cheaters, it is another aspect of the hobby that sparked a lot of conversation. It’s something that people pay a lot more money to do that an average player would.
As for hacking and cheating, there’s some debate as to whether it’s a cut-and-dry issue or if there are some circumstances where doing those activities are okay. Say…. If you’re wanting to troll someone who is screaming spamming the chat with racial slurs? The case is made for both sides of the argument, but who — if anyone — is right?
And as always, the hosts answer some of your viewer questions.. Or, in this case, you guys answered one of ours.
As always, if you missed the last episode of The Republic, you can watch it here. And don’t forget to tune in every week for more SWTOR news — and whatever else the guys end up talking about along the way.
