Just like Larry, I had to get the Axe as well on PTS – it actually works well with Khem Val as a companion. I will also probably get it for other companions that use the same weapon type.

I fail to comprehend how is it even possible that they launch F2P while the 1.4 patch (aka “shadow optimization”, lol) completely broke Crossfire / SLI support, rendering game completely unplayable for some folks (me included).

And there is no ETA on the fix AFAIK.

Guys, this was the funniest show in awhile. I might not play SWTOR anymore, but I still come here for the lulz and you all did not disappoint. I literally fell out of my chair laughing when Gary played that epic death scene youtube vid.

all i can say is that the bioware guys probably said what you said, “bad idea!”. but the EA corporate suit pulled out some chart stating that 65.52125% of the people love simple axes. how can you argue with the hand that feeds you?

The axe was probably already created and cost nothing to implement. There was probably a cash shop consultant (hmm, maybe I should ask Monty if there are cash shop consultants) who had a chart showing what weapons sell well in a cash shop.

  Pretty much this. Like I said before, they no longer have confidence in the product and are trying the very best to milk as much cash as they can from the initial influx ftp will bring. Once you lose confidence in your own progress, the end is nigh. Not that the game will shut down servers, but I can’t imagine people getting continuations to class stories up the the quality they are used to, if at all. Oh well, since i’ll be preferred I’ll reinstall to do my Trooper and some other class story.

i agree with gary i hope they keep doing these stupid videos each one is worst then the last. I hope this f2p is the nail in the coffin. That blaine christensen guy was an intern at the comic con he was outside getting peoples names and stuff now hes thier head guy lol. Ive never seen a game self implode like this. Sad thing is were gonna have to prob wait another 5 even 10 years for another star wars mmo which mostly likely based on swg swtor will be worse.

Larry, you can’t keep defending this game. This game is getting more and more ridiculous. You may have done it somewhat sarcastically but being so apologetic for Bioware, specially at this point, is just silly. Having said that, I do agree that they should add that sit animation to you know… chairs. Keep swinging hard for RPers, sorry if I come off rude.

Game is over for me now. Been commenting on a thread about missing cartel coins that we should of got. Two of my posts in the thread have been deleted with no reason given other than it’s criticizing the game and customer service. I’ve now posted again with proof of the missing post. No doubt that will get delete but at least this time they’ll probably give me a warning for it and at least explain why. Idiots. EA have total wrecked Bioware. I see SWTOR totally failing by end of next year and Bioware being broken up and staff pulled into EA or laid off.

It’s funny how much this game is made fun of, but really, right now, there aren’t many games that are better. Don’t know many games 11 months into a rushed launch that would be near as good.

I payed real money for this game few months back – I payed a sub for it. And today when I logged in… I had 2 quickslot action bars. Such a horrendous greed. I uninstalled the game and I made a promise to myself to NEVER every buy another Bioware or EA game ever again.

Free to play story.

The game stayed installed for4 months on my computer in hopes that I mite be willing to finish some story’s.

Then the day came and I updated and loaded. I came to game, looked, saw, laugh, and left.

(They went as far as the could with out making it pay to play).

Uninstalled swtor. No idea I wasted so much time on this stupid game.

Side note: I love how the trailer they talk about making money “we are happy to” rip you off.
