Don’t get us wrong, the group finder for Star Wars: The Old Republic Update 1.3 looks absolutely great. There are features in there that will certainly cut down on the time to find a group for flashpoints, operations, or what have you. And we love that BioWare has finally figured out how to incorporate server transfers into SWTOR‘s design. Granted, that should have been there since the beginning, but we will take late over never.
Yet for some reason, our panel retains a bit of dissatisfaction with this patch. It could be that the items in this update are a bit behind the MMO curve, but it could also be that all the major issues presented in the past by the three groups represented on the panel where not addressed in this update. Even Gary didn’t get his pole dancing that he desperately wanted.
That said, multiple satisfying additions will be made to the game such as increased XP gains, travel perks, and possibly sitting in chairs. Our panel of SWTOR experts take on these features, dissect them, and present them to you. Larry Everett from Massively, Justin Lowe from Darth Hater, and Ed Park from Taugrim join GAMEBREAKER’s own Gary Gannon on today’s The Republic!
