GAMBREAKER presents to you the best Star Wars: The Old Republic show on the internet. We call it simply The Republic. On today’s show we talk about maps and walls. I bet you didn’t know that SWTOR had maps and walls! Kidding! We actually have something called patch notes to talk about this week. It is almost like TOR is becoming a real MMO, where we have things like patch notes, future changes, and class balancing to talk about. Surprise! TOR is not vaporware! Leading us down this winding-and-twisted road, Gary “Griefer” Gannon heads up our usual panel of SWTOR experts including Larry “Shaddoe” Everett from Massively, Justin “J.Lowe” Lowe from Darth Hater, and Ed “Taugrim” Park from Taugrim.com.
Besides the all-important closing of beta testing, the top story proclaims that Activision‘s CEO Bobby Kotick does not see the financial viability of BioWare‘s MMO because of the cut LucasArts retains for licensing. Our panel tends to believe that Kotick is blowing smoke. Everett asks when the last time Activision had anything to do with a Star Wars game, and Park wonders how Kotick has intimate knowledge of another company’s business deals.
However, you aren’t looking for the all-business commentary. You want our panel’s comments on the latest game changes, their final beta thoughts, and who would win in a fight against a Consular and Imperial Agent, right? (The Consular was featured in last week’s episode, so the Agent should win just to be fair.) You can find out all of that and more on this week’s edition of The Republic!
