This week on TWIMMO, Bungie Destiny info is set to hit on Sunday.

The gaming community has been wondering for a long time exactly what this game is.  We think it’s sci-fi, we think it’s an mmo, and we presume it’s a shooter, but we haven’t had any real Bungie Destiny info. Apparently that’s all going to change Sunday when Bungie is slated to reveal a bit more about Destiny.

Of course, this means that during next week’s TWIMMO we could look forward to a ton of juicy info on the game.  At least we might actually know what it is.

In the meantime, we do have some Bungie Destiny info that was leaked yesterday from retail stores who have begun to receive pre-order supplies.  You can read about this in an article by our own James Megretton — aka Megatron.

Also, be sure to check back on Sunday to see what those crazy people at Bungie are really up to.

Wildstar’s rolling out the hype train.

The team at Carbine have been putting out a lot of cool information about the Dominion faction — as well as new concept art and three new races.  Interesting fact. Human characters get to be in either faction. Yeah.. We’re shifty like that.  Unfortunately, the bunny girls appear to be a bit more loyal, so you only get one choice in faction with them.

The Elder Scrolls Online team decides to feed college students — and con-goers.

It’s a fun idea.  But, I remember being in college — and what happens when free food shows up.  I hope the Elder Scrolls team are prepared.

Camelot Unchained goes old-school.

Prepare yourselves.  If you plan on playing Camelot Unchained, you’re going to have to put some thought into your character creation choices.  Mark Jacobs outlines how character development will work in the game and even your choice in gender will make a difference.  It will be interesting to see how it all works out, but, I’m pretty interested in the concept.

To see how the hosts feel about it, you’ll need to watch the video.

And, as always, if you missed last week’s episode you can check it out here.

It is a crying shame that the videos for Wildstar have such low hit counts. They are brilliantly funny, made with the game engine, and tell players real things about the game. Both US faction trailers are sitting at under 50k views. Meanwhile 3.1 mil for TESO, even their reveal trailer which was the lamest MMO trailer ever has 1.3 mil. The Cyberpunk 2077 trailer has 5.5 million views. Even Project Copernicus has over 200k views. Come on gamers! Support quality product or else we get more of the same tepid advertisements and fantastic talents are muted.

Indeed I do think they are great. But I do think Wildstar is going to have a tough time at first getting an audience. Hopefully it will develop a good following by word of mouth though (assuming the game is good). It just doesn’t have the IP and the draw of those other games.

dont be one of those people….quailty products when u have never played it is a bit of a moronic statement. aswell as qqing on game’s cinematic trailer again is moronic…

      • http://twitter.com/cecilandblues Anthony Botz

You misunderstand, the trailers are quality products. This is the sort of advertising I want to see for games, not boring zone fly through videos or rapid clips of unconnected game play. Tell me a story. Show me how it feels to be in the game world. Show me your personality. The game itself I still need more. Housing systems, Sandbox elements, Open and Instanced PVP details; these are all systems I need to know more about. And with a full action combat system with skill shots for all abilities, I probably need to get my hands on it before I know if I’d play it for any length of time. For now though the Team at Carbine has my support.

i think wildstar having less hits is a good thing. that means its not full speed on the hype train and doomed to fail. you can never match up to what somneone has got into ther head that a game is gonna be like when it comes out weve seen it happen so many times. its best for wildstar to avoid all that.

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1260066056 Steven Diaz

You’re absolutely right.  It’s not like games advertise things that wont be there on release, causing people that were massively hyped to be completely disappointed.  No, nothing to do with that.  It’s all the gamers’ fault for getting excited about falsely advertised features.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Tye-Roberts/100000970848311 Tye Roberts

The aesthetic alone is enough to make me pass their trailers and news entirely. I have nothing against Wildstar, but it doesn’t “look” interesting to me.

      • http://twitter.com/cecilandblues Anthony Botz

That’s a totally fair opinion. For me it’s that aesthetic that had me hooked from the start.

        • http://www.facebook.com/people/Tye-Roberts/100000970848311 Tye Roberts

If they can release a great gameplay trailer and show me what I get to do after I’ve finished leveling (or during) without lathering on the cutesy bloom-filled, colorful environments, maybe I’ll be interested enough to look further.

Until then though, I’ll stick to TESO hype.

    • http://twitter.com/Picoman Picoman

Yeah, even FFXIV:ARR has 3.16 million views for its End Of An Era + A New Beginning cinematic and it only gets a mention during the outro-music.

  • Hicks64

All of the Wildstar (combat/exploring) gameplay vids are snore-tastic so far. Not that MMO combat is typically a treat to watch, but I won’t be telling bros to check out any of vids so far.

Did Jason just ask for there to be she-males for Wildstar? lol

  • http://twitter.com/SeedEve AppleSeed2148

The graphic of Wildstar reminds me too much of WoW because I’m really fed up with this type of cartoony world. It could have been any cartoony world but this one hits too close to WoW.

the art style of wow is what keeps me attracted to it

Make your players uncomfortable and pissed off..why mister Gannon i do believe you are on the verge of inventing the next WoW killer :) )

    <3 Hillary

    • Eddie R

She’s cute and all, but GODDAMN HILLARY! Contribute a little more to the show and stop acting like you’re force to be there.

  • Rick Mills

I was a little disappointed with the show this time – been watching for quite awhile and it always seemed like your crew had a grasp on all the various MMO’s you talk about on the show. I don’t know if it was an off night, which those happen, so if so, can’t wait for next week.

The crew seemed very cynical an unexcited about any of the games you brought up – did they do their homework for the show, or just show up? Age of Wushu is a great example – that game is the number one game in China. It has amazing ideas – way beyond Camelot unchained and you write it off because of bad translation? Pretty shallow and cynical. I’d take another look at it – you of all people, Gary wold love it.

Anyways, see you next week and thanks for the efforts!

    -Rick

(PS, maybe balance one of the negative crew with a positive replacement?)

    • George Vink

I unfortunately agree with most of this it is not fun to watch people being cynical without good reason.

      • http://twitter.com/dularr Dularr

Sadly, that is what MikeB would add to a show.  He was the great equalizer. He would call Gary on his trolling.  Balance out the negative nancy(s), without coming across as a fanboy.

        • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1260066056 Steven Diaz

          Completely agree!

  • http://twitter.com/LusitanGaming Lusitan Gaming

i think Gary is way overhyped with Destiny, cant he see the major issues with it, mainly it being a console MMO exclusive on hardware that is 7y old, did i forgot to mention its console Exclusive.

Best of luck to them, im pretty sure all Halo/CoD auto-aim fans will be queuing for it.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jason-Quinn/504633100 Jason Quinn

Yea I don’t know what you’re talking about, wildstar is on PC.

  • http://www.facebook.com/stradus.woods Stradus Woods

Like the gender race decisions it changes how you see the world populated more varied.  It makes you pay attention to what you are fighting more and who you are fighting.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=754168227 Len Hobbel

Who freaks out about rock showers I mean , learned all about that in elementary school. I think many never get out…GARY should come here and watch what goes on these streets on the weekends. Street Racing…real life stuff real money changing hands. He could even co-pilot my Nova….if he doesnt shit his pants. a blown 572 with 650 demons, 9 second street driven 70 SS Nova….Almost as fast as a grain of sand rock shower by far more real.

Surprised you guys didnt know about / research the ps4 anoucement on the 20th, would have been a nice conversation about the new bungie game and which console it is coming out on.  The feb 20th annoncement was announced 3 weeks ago and has been all over the internet, suprised you guys didnt run it to it randomly even :)

    • http://twitter.com/JuhTai James Megretton

We will be covering the PS4 news, however this isn’t really the show for it as, afterall…this is the one all about MMO’s :P

      • http://www.facebook.com/nathan.anglin Nathan Anglin

Still though, I love the network (when watching for 2 years), but there are MMO’s on PS3 DC online, DUST, and SOE hinted that Planetside 2 would be going to console very recently.  They discussed it a few shows back and assumed it was for the ps3 and said it would be too complex for that.  Thats why i think this ps4 news is VERY relevant to MMO shows.

Just really disappointed that this major bit of news is left out of the last few weeks of shows.  Im still a HUGE fan of gambreaker twimmo and legendary, still love the shows and all the guys.  But guys…. I think this is a HUGE thing to not be talking about on a gaming channel!

  • DoctorOverlord

    Wildstar’s trailers
are amazing.  I hope they can keep that
sense of humor and fun in the game when it comes out.  I’ll certainly play it if they do.

    I do find it
interesting to hear what Mark Jacobs is saying about Camelot Unchained.   I agree with Hilary and Jason that old-school
mechanics to have problems, however, Jacobs has said that he is targeting a
hardcore, niche audience which is incredibly sensible IMO.   Those people may not mind those mechanics
that other players would find annoying.   I think it would be interesting to see MMO devs
    focus on more specific audiences.

    First ed
D&D!   Way to go Jason :)

    • k3rc

Sad that gamebreaker sort of gloss over wildstar and didn’t do a little more research before the started doing their video.

  • http://www.facebook.com/Trixstir Bryan Ramsey

I didn’t watch this when it was aired but about the deal with you being able to customize you character in Camelot I really don’t see that you can make a OP char as he was saying because its just more about doing it right vs wrong aka like specializing or trying to be a jack of  all trades
