I like Pokket a lot better in these shows. She seems more natural and relaxed than when she is doing her 1-person videos. I glad she is part of the show.

Question : Why you’re not talking about RIFT Storm Legion? You could do an entire show just about what’s coming for Storm Legion.

    • Fluffenstuffen

Because its been in TWIMMO for the past like 10 weeks (I don’t actually know the number but it’s been talked about quite a bit actually). They don’t need to cover it 24/7,

To me the challenge GamebreakerTV had with a weekly Rift show  was Trion World just doesnt release alot of new information on their games. Trion will release a big info dump and then goes silent for several months.   Not sure if any of the host still play Rift or picked it back up.

    double post, sorry!

I’m assuming John Smedley may be referring to the Wall Street Journal review of Borderlands 2. I’ve seen a bit of fuss about the review.

Adam Najberg, the author of the review, compares BL2 to “…the Halos and Call of Duty games…” and believes, “Borderlands 2 falls short because it’s missing several key elements… most notably, a rich multiplayer online mode.” Even knowing about the four player online co-op, he doesn’t find it as engrossing as COD’s online experience.

It goes on in length, but I’d recommend reading it yourself.

The review can definitely come off as something a non-gamer would write up – maybe casual gamer, certainly not an extensive gamer.

Wow…that was terrible. “Omg! I hate this game so much. There’s all this loot to collect and you have to explore the world! Give me my CoD.” Adam Najberg should be ashamed to even think he’s a journalist.

Dragon Age was crap.. Horrible game that suppose to be BG2 of our time. Imo game industry is growing and thats bad… more crap less quality just to sell it. EA is worst company coz they are mostly like corrupting corporation who want to suck everything just for profit.

    • andrew-1148

You’re an idiot for saying that Dragon Age was crap.

    • Deathstar2x

How exactly is a growing industry a bad thing?
If it’s “more crap, less quality just to sell it,” the bad games will not sell (since they’re.. well, bad) while the quality games will continue to sell. However, what is quality is based on the judgment of the consumer. Some say Call of Duty is good, some say Dragon Age is bad— they’re speaking with their money (and I won’t call them idiots.) This could be said with every industry within a true free market.

Also, part of the iPhone is the purchase of social recognition.

User created content could use an item creation point system similar to the crafting system of DAoC. That, or a Random Object Generator (again, similar to the ROG in DAoC), where the game generates random loot. I thought that these systems would have made into more games by now.

  • mcfoyle

why not give a stat budget for user created items

pokket is so high when she does these

I loved TSW, but I can’t really swing more than one sub game at a time. I prefer that they went with the mature rating, not every game has to be accessible to 10 year olds; we adults are allowed to have fun on our terms as well.

if they scale tiangles small enough , u can make poligons … and poligons make awesome dicks

  • matraque

Just a little note.  I used to work QA for a company that produced sports game and for press events, when we were playing online, we had to let them win.
