There really is a reason to use the Rift Authenticator! Security breach at Trion, they did assure their customers that no credit card information was stolen.
The lesson for today kids is USE AN AUTHENTICATOR!

Good to see the Sanctum on the air again. Rift isn’t suffering as much as some people claim it is. I know when I log on it may appear dead around meridian. But when an event starts in a high level zone there are always several full raid groups participating. As long as I’m grouped with one or two guildies we’re getting instant LFG queues. And when I put out a call for raid/crafting rifts they fill up in minutes. So I don’t believe it’s dead by any means.

Good show.  On why they have these models in the patch files:
     1) Good for keeping the game discussion going
     2) Good for development.  Working and contributing on the build that has minimal differences to the live build reduces the overhead in merging the code base.  This results in fewer bugs in the final product.

My biggest selling point is Tamgros’ statement at 23:40, which is how easily everyone is able to change their spec to tailor their abilities to each raid encounters.

Its equally true for 5-man dungeons. I switch spec between support, DPS and even healing throughout the dungeon.

It’s the feature I appreciate the most about Rift.

Was worried you were stopping these! Glad to see that’s not the case. I’ve come back to Rift after levelling to 50 on SWTOR and I must say having a functional UI, combat logs and some decent endgame content made me glad to be back. Even if the IA storyline was cool.

Next to no bugs too despite the comments in the show!

Whatever happened to Hartsman’s claim that Rift would offer RvR if that’s what people wanted?  What’s that just a bogus statement or was there not enough interest?  I would think Rift would be the perfect game to try out a real RvR zone.

I would love to see an expansion with a 3rd faction to complement the addition of RvR. I would come back to Rift in a heartbeat. I don’t know how that would work exactly as it stands, it’s aethist vs the religious. Doesn’t leave room for much else I suppose. Maybe some cultists would fit. Bleh.
