There’s been this issue with the last couple of shows (TWIMMO, Legendary, this, that Ive seen) where the audio is kinda screwed. The audio itself is fine, but its mostly on the right speaker/part of the headset, which is INCREDIBLY annoying to listen to :/

Star Wars Episode 3 is the best thus far so if they maintain that standard i’m all for it.
(keeping in mind i watch each movie as a movie and don’t care about the little intricate bullshit that pisses so many of you off. this is why i was also able to enjoy the newest Indian Jones movie, which was a sequel to the only good one of the original 3)

You don’t have to go grind a heart at all, you go do dynamic events. Heart Quests are *not* the point, they’re just part of the exploration. Dynamic events are the Point of the PvE game, as far as content goes. The Heart quests are part of the Exploration mechanic, to guide you through the map and towards Dynamic Events.

what is going on with this nickelback?

I don’t understand how people end up under leveled in GW2. I never really had that problem. I was constantly overleveled for my story quests. I just went back to my Engineer alt and focused on my story quests, and only found myself behind by one level at most. I just leveled two alts to the level 10 story quest part to get the black lion key reward and it was easy as can be. I do three, maybe five DEs to get any extra XP I need.

I always ended up under level. Must be nice to just focus on your story quests. Wish I knew what that’s like.

      • guzik

I was also always overleveled but the reason was that for my crafts Jewelcrafting and Armorsmithing the materials i would get from doing one zone of the intended levels (eg. a 15-30 zone) we’re never enough and I’d do another or even 2 of those level zones. Never a problem with levels then and you get closer to 100% completion.

    – Mike S,
     I think you’re doing something wrong in GW2 ^^
When you 100% both race starter zones you should not be behind in your story!
At least not when the story is still in the same zone!

On my very first Character I completed every zone 1 by one as I entered them and when my story progressed beyong Lions Arch I was already 60+

Especially if you are crafting and not ignoring events I find it’s hard to believe.
But maybe that was during the very first weeks, because I think the re-tweaked the early leveling curve after the first few weeks

I think the overarching problem with how GW2 was designed and what Shaff was getting at was that with GW2′s design, you can’t play the way you -want to play and succeed for long. If a person doesn’t care enough about crafting or exploring, they are still forced into it to some extent in order to maintain the leveling curve. GW1 imho was much more liberal in allowing players to play the game the way they enjoyed it most (Prophecies, at least – the subsequent expansions were a bit more limiting), which leads to Darnell’s response.

When I bought GW1 I was primarily looking for a Fantasy based RPG that used a party-based system for game play – i.e. players were not the lone wolf heroes of the game, but adventured alongside NPC companions – and one that had engaging and entertaining game play. I wanted a game that harkened back to the Wizardry, Eye of the Beholder, and Baldur’s Gate days. I just wanted to play a great game, the fact that it was an MMO was a bit off-putting, but having no sub fee lessened that impact. Fortunately, the deal-maker was that GW1 had those NPCs I could adventure with and thus play the game at my own pace and in my own manner, and thus I was able to play a great game despite the fact that it was an MMO (and consequently, made me more interested in the genre). For me GW2 lost a lot of that freedom and ability when they designed it the way they did.

Show is getting better and better. I think it would be awesome to introduce a machinima SWTOR or GW2 character to counteract Darnell. One that is glass half full to Darnell’s glass half empty.

Every single callers sound is shit. Common denominator here is Schaffnit.. FIX IT!!!!

Callers are brought on using Skype. A service we haven’t used for the last year for that very reason. Not much I can do when the Skype servers aren’t stable.

Darnel does not work on this show guys. Time to let him go. Actually outside of Blizzblues your attempt to milk out Darnel is pretty bad. All the gameplays are just youtube bandwagoning.
Darnel is a great character and you will ruin it by exploiting him.

    • InvaderMig

Can’t say I agree.  I laughed many times during this episode, and it was all due to Darnell.  I enjoyed his input very much.

There’s no way you’re crafting, doing dynamic events, completing the map, and ending up under level. Talk to Scott Hawkes from Guildcast, this BS was debunked! The only way Scott was able to underlevel was by just running from heart to heart and ignoring everything else in the game.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ZFDWTWGZMMX5P2DU72YPBLCQJM Justin Ryan

bare minimum just getting all wps/poi/hearts is easily 50 lvls. each crafting lvl maxed is 10 lvls on the nose so if you max two for end game gear is 20 lvls. I was lvl 80 and my map completion was below 60%. Just doing map completetion on my mesmer alt (lvl 74 currently) and she just passed my main on map completion at around 60%.

gathering/ DE/ farming for mats fills in the rest.
You cannot just do storyline the whole time to lvl 80. it just doesnt work like that since i think each story instance happens every 3 lvls. You need to play the game otherwise.

  • Stuff

Well they already have paragon levels in Diablo, why not have a similar concept in WoW so instead of being level 100 you maybe be level 1(enter skull mark here that you have for elite mobs and raid bosses).
